M/S.Nagarjuna Construction Co Ltd

This site of ours is located in Loyabad, right by the power house and the coke plant. If you are looking for us, we are near the Deo Kumar Singh weighing bridge. It is a very industrial part of Dhanbad. You can see the coal dust on everything, even the windows of our small office. We are part of Nagarjuna Construction Co Ltd, but out here, it feels more like a field camp. It is not a place for clean shoes. We spend our days out by the bansjora area, watching the heavy machinery and the trucks. The noise from the plant is constant. We have a simple setup with some files and a few computers. Most of the work happens outside in the heat and the wind. We are managing the construction bits for the local infrastructure. It is tough work. The workers are always on the move, and we have to keep track of every load that goes over the scale. It is not a corporate headquarters with air conditioning and fancy meetings. We eat our lunch while sitting on plastic chairs near the site entrance. Dhanbad is a gritty place to work, but we are used to it. We just focus on the schedule and getting the concrete poured or the steel set. It is a busy, dusty life at the Loyabad site.
