Mrigyashmi Clinic

Started in Karmik Nagar because the area needed a place like this. It’s just a small clinic, nothing too fancy to look at from the outside. I spend most of my days here behind the desk or in the back room with the patients. We see people with all kinds of stuff, like colds or just needing a checkup. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint but we haven't gotten around to it yet. My nephew helps me with the papers on Tuesdays. We know the neighbors pretty well since they stop in quite often. It gets a bit hot in the afternoons when the sun hits the front window. We have a fan that makes a little clicking sound but it keeps the air moving. There’s no big sign or anything, just the name on the door. Most people around Karmik Nagar find us by word of mouth anyway. We open up around nine and stay till the work is done. It’s a lot of sitting and talking to people about their health. We keep a stash of tea in the back for when things slow down. It’s not a big corporate operation, just us doing our thing every day. Sometimes the waiting room gets a bit crowded and folks have to stand, but nobody seems to mind too much. We just keep things moving as fast as we can to help whoever is waiting.
