Mantu General Store

We have this shop called Mantu General Store over in Hirapur, Dhanbad. It is located on the ground floor along Durga Mandir Road, right near the Zilla Paresad building. It’s a pretty decent spot because there are always people walking around for work or errands. Our store is one of those places where you can find the little things you forgot to buy at the big market. We keep things like soap, snacks, and basic household items. The ground floor makes it easy for people to just pop in and out quickly. I’ve spent many years in this shop, and I’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit, though the road is as busy as ever. Sometimes we have a lot of stock piled up near the entrance, making it a bit cramped, but we manage. It’s a simple operation with no big corporate rules or anything. We just open the doors in the morning and wait for the neighbors to come by. Working in Dhanbad means you get used to the noise and the constant movement. I usually spend the quiet hours of the afternoon restocking the shelves or checking the dates on the packages. It’s not an exciting job, but it’s what we do. People know they can find us near the Zilla Paresad if they need anything basic. We just try to keep the shop running smoothly for everyone who lives nearby.
