Life Kirana General Store

Life Kirana General Store is located right on Hirapur Road in Dhanbad. The road is always full of vehicles and people so there is never a quiet moment. We started this shop to provide the local residents with their daily needs. We sell items like rice, pulses, oils, and other kitchen staples. The shop is tucked into a small corner of the building and the space inside is quite limited. We have to use every inch of the walls for shelving. I run the place mostly by myself but my wife helps out when she can. We named it Life Kirana because these are the things people need for their everyday life. The floor is made of old stone and the walls could use a fresh coat of paint but it doesn't stop us from doing our work. Most of our customers are from the immediate neighborhood. We know exactly what they want as soon as they walk in. It’s a very personal way of running a business. Dhanbad is a place where you have to work hard and that is what we do every single day. We don't have a big corporate office or any fancy titles. I am just a shopkeeper trying to make a living and help my neighbors get their groceries without any fuss. It's a simple and honest way to live.
