Lafarge Umiam Mining Private Limited

We run this branch of Lafarge Umiam Mining Private Limited out of Saharpura, which is part of the Sindri area in the Dhanbad district. The office itself is actually an old quarter, number SK4-154. It is a very industrial kind of place to live and work. Everyone in this part of town is usually connected to the factories or the mines in some way. We do our mining coordination from here. It is a simple setup with a few tables and a lot of logbooks. Since we are in a residential quarter, it feels very much like being part of the community. You can hear the neighbors and the kids playing outside while we are working on the schedules. It is dusty work because of the location, but that is just life in Dhanbad. We don't have any big flashy signs or a fancy lobby for people to wait in. If someone needs to see us, they just come to the door and knock. We spend most of the day talking to the transport teams and making sure the records are up to date. It is a steady routine that we have been following for years. The furniture is old and the walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but it works for us. We are just here to do the job and keep the business moving along without any fuss. Sometimes the heat in the afternoon slows us down, but we just have some water and keep going until the shift ends.
