Kabir Medical

Kabir Medical is located right on Jharia Road in Patherdih, Dhanbad. We are situated directly opposite the Post Office, which is the main landmark for everyone in this neighborhood. The road outside is often dusty with all the trucks and vehicles passing through this part of the coal belt. It’s a noisy and lively spot to be. The shop itself is packed from floor to ceiling with boxes and medicine strips. There isn't much room to walk around once a few customers come in at the same time. We have a counter that has seen a lot of use over the years, with scratches and marks from daily work. Facing the post office means we see a lot of people coming and going throughout the day. We usually keep the front shutters open wide to let in some air, even if it brings in some of the Jharia Road dust. Our days are spent pulling items off the shelves and checking the dates on everything. It’s a simple life of running a small business in a town like Patherdih. We don't have a website or any fancy marketing stuff. People just know where we are because we’ve been here across from the post office for so long. Sometimes we sit outside on a stool when it’s quiet just to watch the traffic go by. It’s just a regular local medical store trying to keep things organized for the locals.
