Hotel Sri Ganesh

If you look up while you are walking through Bank More in Dhanbad, you’ll see us. Hotel Sri Ganesh is right above the Ganpati Collection shop. It’s a busy part of town, maybe the busiest, with all the shops and people moving around. We’ve been running this place for a bit, keeping things going as best as we can. It’s not one of those big hotels with glass walls. We are just a local spot. The stairs can be a bit steep when you’re carrying luggage, but we usually have someone around to help out if needed. Dhanbad can be quite dusty and loud, so we try to keep the rooms as a bit of a break from that. Most of our guests are here for work or just passing through the city. We spend our mornings checking the water tanks and making sure the staff showed up on time. Sometimes things are a bit chaotic in the market downstairs, but that’s just life in Bank More. We don’t have a big fancy lobby, just a desk where we sit and talk to whoever comes in. We’ve seen the neighborhood change over the years, more shops opening and more traffic on the roads. It stays pretty much the same inside here though. Just rooms and beds and a place to rest. We do our own maintenance and try to keep the place tidy. It’s a simple setup for anyone needing a spot in Dhanbad.
