Green Medicals

Our medical shop is on Police Line Road in Dhanbad. We are quite close to the Randhir Verma Chowk, so most people know the general area even if they haven't been inside the store yet. It is a 826001 pincode spot. We spend most of our time standing behind the counter, looking at prescriptions and finding the right boxes on the shelves. It can get pretty dusty with the road being so close and the wind blowing in, so we are always wiping things down. We keep all the usual things like painkillers, cough syrups, and bandages. It’s a simple business. We aren't trying to be anything more than a local pharmacy for the neighborhood. People stop by on their way home from work or after seeing a doctor nearby. Sometimes we have to tell someone to wait while we check the stock in the back room or look through a new shipment. It’s just me and a couple of other guys working here. We know the regulars who come for their monthly blood pressure or sugar medicine. Dhanbad is a busy place and Police Line Road always has something going on with cars and people passing. We see a lot of faces every day. We don't do any big advertisements, we just keep the lights on and make sure the medicine is there. It’s a straightforward job, honestly. Just selling medicine and talking to the people.
