You will find Dilip Kirana Store on Pandit Clinic Road in Dhanbad, located in the Subham Apartment. It is a standard neighborhood shop where we sell everyday groceries. The area is usually busy because of the clinic nearby, so there are always people walking past. Our store is filled with rows of pulses, spices, and household cleaners. We keep the rice and flour in large bags on the floor because they are too heavy for the shelves. The apartment building is fairly modern, but our shop feels more traditional. We use a simple scale to weigh out items and write down the totals on paper scraps. The walls are painted a light color, but they’ve faded over the years from the sun coming through the front door.
