Chandan Shoppee

Chandan Shoppee is right in the middle of the action at Shriram Plaza in Bank More, Dhanbad. This part of town is always buzzing with people and traffic, and we are right there in the mix. We sell a bit of everything, mostly focused on the things people need for their homes on a daily basis. It’s a small shop. We’ve had to get creative with how we display everything from snacks to toiletries. Dhanbad is a busy place, and Bank More is probably one of the most crowded spots, so there’s never a dull moment for us. We see all sorts of people coming through Shriram Plaza, some just window shopping and others looking for something specific. We try to keep our prices fair and our stock updated so people don't go away empty-handed. Sometimes the heat in the summer makes things a bit tough, but we keep the fans going and stay at it. It’s not a fancy corporate outlet with people in uniforms; it’s just us in our regular clothes helping out the customers. We’ve had this spot for a while now and we’ve seen the plaza change over the years. We just keep doing what we do, which is providing a convenient place for locals to grab what they need quickly. It’s a lot of standing around and talking, but we wouldn’t have it any other way. It is just our life here.
