Babu Store

Babu Store has been sitting here on Durga Mandir Road for quite a long time. Our shop is number 25, and we are quite close to the Hanuman Mandir. In Dhanbad, everyone knows this area because of the temples. During festivals, the whole road gets very crowded and noisy, but it’s a good kind of busy. We sell all sorts of general items that a household needs. From cleaning supplies to little treats for the children, everything is crammed onto the shelves. The floor is a bit uneven in places, and the ceiling fan makes a clicking sound, but it works fine. We don't have any big signs or bright lights. Most people just walk in because they know we are here. Living and working near the Hanuman Mandir means we see a lot of people coming and going for prayers. We often keep some extra items that people might need for their offerings. It’s a simple business. My family helps out when it gets busy in the evenings. We don’t have a website or anything like that. We just focus on keeping the stock full and being here when the shutters go up in the morning. It’s a decent life, and we know our place in the neighborhood. The mornings are the best when it is still cool and the incense from the temple smells nice. We just take each day as it comes and try to be helpful.
