Arpita General Stores

People here in Kendua know us as a small shop on the main road near the bridge. Arpita General Stores has been here for a while now. We keep things that people need every day like pulses, soap, and maybe some snacks for the kids. The shop isn't huge, but we try to stock most things so you don't have to go all the way into the main Dhanbad city market. Living in Kusunda, it is easier for neighbors to just walk over here. Usually, it is just one or two of us behind the counter. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded in the evenings when everyone is coming back from work, so things might look a little messy on the shelves. We just try to keep up with what the locals ask for. If we do not have something, we usually tell you to check back in a couple of days. The weather gets really dusty around here because of the coal area, so we spend a lot of time wiping down the jars and packets. It is just a regular shop, nothing fancy at all. We know most of the faces that come in. Sometimes we sit and talk for a bit if there is no line. It has been part of the daily routine here on Kenduapul Main Road. We open early and stay open until late evening. It is just how things work here in Jharkhand. We are just here for the local needs.
