Anand Store

Anand Store is right on the Main Road in Katras Garh, inside the Katras Bazar area. It is a busy place with people always walking by. We have been here for quite some time, selling general items that people need every day. You can find things like soap, detergent, cooking oil, and bags of flour. The shop is small and the shelves go all the way to the ceiling. I have to use a ladder to reach some of the items on the top. It is a bit of a squeeze when there are more than three customers inside. We open early to catch the morning crowd and stay until the market starts to quiet down at night. Katras Bazar is always noisy, and we are right in the thick of it. We do not have a website or anything like that. People just know where we are. We have a lot of regulars who stop by just to say hello even if they are not buying anything. Sometimes the stock is a bit disorganized, but we know where everything is located. It is a family business, passed down through the years. We do not do fancy promotions. We just try to have the basics in stock so no one leaves disappointed. It is hard work being on your feet all day, but we enjoy being part of the bustle of the Main Road. It is a simple, honest way to make a living for us.
