Our place is right in Udaypur village, not far from the main road in the Dhampur area. It’s been our base for a long time. Being out here in Bijnor, things move a bit slower than the big cities, and we like it that way. Most of the people who come to see us are neighbors or folks from the nearby villages. We handle a lot of different things, mostly whatever people need for their building projects. It’s a small operation, really. Just a handful of us working out of the office here in the village. You get to know everyone by name after a few years. We spend a lot of our time on the phone or talking to drivers. The yard can get a bit messy when it rains, but we manage. We aren't into big advertising or anything like that. Word of mouth usually brings people to our door. We just try to stay honest and get people what they asked for. Sometimes things get delayed, or the truck breaks down, but we always talk it through with the customer. It's just how business happens in a place like Udaypur. We take pride in being a part of this community for so long. Every day is different, but the work stays pretty much the same. It's a good life out here in the district. We don’t have much in the way of a fancy setup, but we get by.
