Surya Automotive & Plastics is located at 136, Industrial Area, No.2. It’s a standard industrial unit with high ceilings and plenty of noise from the molding machines. We spend most of our time dealing with plastic parts and automotive bits that go into bigger machines or cars. The smell of hot plastic is something you just get used to after a week of working here. We have a small team of people who have been with us for years. They know exactly how the machines behave, even when they get a bit temperamental on Mondays. It isn’t the cleanest environment because of the materials we use, but we try to keep things organized enough so we can find the tools we need. We don't really do much advertising. Most people find out about us from others in the trade. We just focus on the orders we have on the desk. Sometimes we have to rework a batch if the settings weren't just right, which is frustrating, but it happens to everyone in this line of work. The loading bay is always busy in the mornings with the morning pick-ups. We usually eat our lunch together at the big table in the back. It’s a simple setup, nothing too complicated, just a lot of daily tasks to keep the production line moving.
