Pragya Arts is tucked away at No. 14 on Jai Prakash Marg. We are located in the Old Town section of Gomti Nagar. It’s a bit of an older neighborhood with a lot of history. Our space is filled with all sorts of things, from paints and brushes to finished pieces drying in the corner. It’s not a sterile gallery or anything like that. It’s a working studio where things get messy. There are paint splatters on the floor and stacks of frames leaning against the walls. We don't really worry about keeping it perfectly tidy. The light comes in through the front window in the mornings, which is when we get most of our work done. Jai Prakash Marg is a relatively quiet street compared to the main roads, but we still get plenty of people walking by. Some stop to look in the window, and others just keep moving. We do a lot of custom work and smaller projects for people in the area. It’s just us here, working with our hands every day. We don't have a big marketing plan or a sales team. We just make things and hope people like them. Sometimes we run out of materials and have to wait for a delivery, which gives us a bit of a break. It’s a slow and steady kind of life. We like being part of the Old Town community. It feels like the right place for an arts business.
