Our business is located in Ward No. 6 of Tonk Khurd. If you know where Utkrasht Vidhyalay is, we are right across from it. You can hear the school bell ring throughout the day and the kids shouting during their breaks. It’s a lively spot to be in. Patel Enterprises has been here for a long time. We’re basically a local fixture in the neighborhood now. The shop itself is nothing fancy. We have some old wooden shelves and a counter that’s seen a lot of use. We mostly deal with the locals who live in this part of town. Sometimes people just stop by to chat for a minute while they’re out doing their shopping. We keep our records in a big notebook because that’s the way it’s always been done. The dust from the road blows in sometimes, so we spend a lot of time dusting off the stock. We aren't trying to be the biggest company around. We just want to make sure the people who come here get what they need. Our hours are pretty standard, but we might stay open a little late if someone needs something urgently. It’s a small town vibe here and we like it. We know the parents who come to pick up their kids from the school opposite us. It feels like a community. We don’t have any big plans to move or change things. We’re quite happy right where we are in Ward 6.
