Our facility, Manish Kumar Chandra Prakash Jain Stone Industries, is located at Plot No. 5-A/5/1 in Industrial Area No. 2. It is a long name because it includes the family names, which is how we have always done things. Being in an industrial area means we are surrounded by other factories and workshops. There is always the sound of machinery and the smell of industrial work in the air. Our main focus is processing stone. We have large cutting machines that run for most of the day, turning big blocks into slabs and smaller pieces. It is a very messy job with lots of water and stone slurry everywhere. We all wear heavy boots and clothes that we don't mind getting dirty. This is a family-run business through and through. We don't have a fancy front office or a place for customers to sit in the AC. If you come to see us, you will probably find us out by the machines or checking the latest batch of stone. We deal directly with builders and contractors who need bulk material for their projects. They know where we are and that we have been in this industry for many years. We don't use any polished language or try to act like a big corporation. We are just a family working hard in a noisy factory to get the orders finished on time. It is a tough business but we are used to it.
