Hutaib Industries

Hutaib Industries is out in Industrial Area Number 2, right off A. B. Road. Being in an industrial zone means we are surrounded by other factories and warehouses, so there’s always the sound of heavy engines and metal clanging nearby. Our address is 7/7 C, and it’s a standard industrial shed that we’ve turned into our workspace. We don't have a lawn or a fancy entrance. It’s a big metal door and a concrete floor. Inside, we handle various industrial processes. It gets very hot during the summer months, and the fans barely do anything, but we’re used to it. The team here is practical-minded. We don't talk much about visions or goals, we just look at the production schedule for the day and try to meet it. Most of our time is spent maintaining the equipment or loading pallets. A. B. Road is a main artery, so we get a lot of dust from the passing traffic, which means we’re always wiping down the benches. We like being in this part of town because it’s where things actually get built. We don't have a front office with a receptionist. If you show up, you’ll probably have to shout over the machines to get someone’s attention. It’s a straightforward environment where the focus is on the physical work. We’ve been here a while and we know the other business owners on the block, which makes for a good community of makers in the local area.
