Jay Rude Films And Photography

I’ve been doing this for a while now here at 6 Chamunda Nagar. It’s not a massive studio with fancy lights and coffee machines, but it’s where I keep all my cameras and gear. I mostly handle photography and some film work for people nearby. It started out as just me playing around with an old camera I found, and then people started asking me to take photos of their kids or at their weddings. Now, Jay Rude Films And Photography is what I do full-time. The space is a bit cluttered sometimes because there’s always something to edit or a backdrop that needs moving. I don't really have a big staff, just some friends who help out when things get busy. The neighborhood is quiet, which helps when I'm trying to focus on editing. I try to keep things simple. If someone wants a portrait or a short video, they just walk in and we talk about it. I don't use a lot of big words or fancy tech talk. I just like catching the way things look at a certain moment. Sometimes the sun hits the street just right outside the shop, and I think about how lucky I am to do this for a living. It isn't always perfect, and sometimes a lens breaks or a battery dies at the wrong time, but that’s just how it goes in this business. We make it work anyway.
