We are located right in the middle of Sangmeshwar village. It’s a quiet spot most days, though things get busier when people come through from Devrukh. Our place, Abdulgani Haji Gaffar & Company, has been sitting here in this taluka for a good while now. Life moves at its own pace in this part of the world. We open up the shutters every morning and just get on with whatever needs doing that day. There isn't much to say about us that you wouldn't see just by walking past the door. We handle the usual work and talk to the people who stop by. Sometimes the weather is hot, sometimes the rain really comes down hard, but the shop stays open. It’s just how it is. People know where to find us if they need anything. We don’t have a big fancy office or anything like that. It’s just a practical space where we keep our things and meet our neighbors. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint eventually, but they do the job for now. We are just a local business trying to keep things moving along. If you are ever near Devrukh or passing through Sangmeshwar, you might see us. We don't spend much time worrying about how things look as long as the work gets done and everyone is treated fair. That’s about the whole story of our little company here. We have been through a lot of seasons in this village and we just keep doing what we do.
