Larsen & Toubro Limited

This site is based at the Eastern Residency in Mothikhavadi. We are on the second floor of Building No. 6, specifically in C2. It’s part of the township, so it feels a bit different than a regular city office. Living and working in the same general area has its ups and downs, but it makes the commute very easy. Most of the people here are part of the Larsen & Toubro Limited team, working on the various bits and pieces of the Jamnagar projects. The building itself is pretty standard for a township. It’s got that lived-in feel because people are actually staying here. We keep the office area as tidy as possible, though there are always blueprints or reports lying around. It gets quite windy in this part of Gujarat, and you can definitely feel it when you’re walking between the buildings. We spend a lot of time talking to the crews and making sure they have what they need. It’s a very hands-on environment. We aren't tucked away in some far-off headquarters; we are right where the action is. Sometimes the power goes out or the internet gets slow, but that’s just life here. We just get on with it. It’s a practical setup for people who are here to do a specific job. There’s a sense of community because we all see each other at the local canteen or during evening walks. We aren't here for show, just for the work.
