Our place is located in a spot called Digvijay Gram, out in Sikka near Jamnagar. Specifically, we are at the Thanki B.M. site. It’s a bit of a distance from the main city, but that’s how it is in this part of Gujarat. We handle things related to resorts and hotels, though our daily life is mostly office work and managing the grounds. Being near the P.O. Digvijay Gram means we are part of a smaller community. It’s not like those big city hotels where everything is rushing all the time. Here, things move at their own pace. We have to deal with the dusty roads and the weather, but the coastal air is okay. The staff here mostly comes from nearby areas, so we all know each other’s families and stories. We’ve been here for a while and have seen the landscape change as industry grows in Jamnagar. It’s not a fancy glass building, it’s a practical setup for the work we do. We spend a lot of time making sure things are running correctly at the properties. It’s hard work, especially in the heat, but we keep at it. If you’re looking for us, you’ll have to head out towards Sikka. Just follow the signs for the gram and you will see the gate eventually. We’re usually here from morning until the sun goes down.
