Balusoc Garments

You can find us at No. 22 Devangapuram Street. We are right near the Arya Agency and that big P J Showroom. It is a busy little pocket of the city. At Balusoc Garments, things are usually moving pretty fast. We have fabrics being unfolded and patterns being laid out most of the time. The street outside is always noisy with bikes and people walking by to the showrooms nearby. Inside, we have our own kind of noise with the machines going. It is a small team here. We don’t have fancy titles or a big human resources department. If someone needs something done, they just shout across the room. We spend a lot of time checking the seams and making sure the buttons are on tight. It is dusty work, especially when we are cutting through a lot of cotton. We have a small bench outside where we sit for a few minutes when the sun starts to go down. Most of our neighbors are in the same trade, so we all know the struggle of getting materials on time. We’ve been in this Devangapuram spot for quite a while now. The building is old but it stays mostly cool during the summer. We just keep our heads down and focus on the garments. It is honest work and it keeps us busy enough from Monday to Saturday without much fuss.
