Sp Earth Movers

Down here at Sp Earth Movers, we stay pretty busy with the machines day in and day out. We are located at 436 over in the Devakottai Extension, right near the Union Stop in Sivaganga. Most of our day is spent out on the field or cleaning the tracks on the equipment after a long shift. It’s a lot of grease and dirt, but that’s how it goes when you’re moving earth for a living in this area. We’ve been part of this community for a bit and people know our yellow machines when they see them. We try to keep everything running smooth, though older equipment always needs some extra grease or a new bolt here and there. It’s just me and a few guys who know how to handle the levers and the pedals. We don't have a receptionist or anything like that, so if you call, you’re usually talking to the person actually doing the work out in the sun. The yard in Sivaganga is where we park everything at night to keep it safe. It’s a decent spot and easy for the trucks to get in and out of without much trouble. Sometimes the heat is a bit much in the afternoon, but we just start early in the morning to beat the worst of it. We do what we can to help out with local building work or clearing land for new shops. It’s basic work, but it needs to be done right. We just focus on the job at hand.
