Hora Motors

Hora Motors is out in Kondhala Village. We are part of the Desaiganj tehsil in District Vadsha. It is a rural area, and we have been here for quite some time now. In a place like Gadchiroli, everyone knows everyone else, so we don't need much in the way of signs. Our shop is just a practical space where we deal with motors and vehicles. We spend most of our time under the hoods of cars or working on bikes. It is dusty work because of the roads around here, and our hands are rarely clean. We don't have any corporate training or fancy uniforms. We just learned by doing the work over many years. When someone brings in a motor that isn't running right, we take it apart and see what we can find. Sometimes it is a quick fix, and sometimes we have to wait for parts to come in from the bigger towns. People in Kondhala depend on their transport to get around, so we know it’s important to get them back on the road. The workshop isn't very large, but it has everything we need to do our jobs. We are just local people serving our own community. We don't have a mission statement or anything like that. We just wake up, open the doors, and start working on whatever needs fixing that day. It is a simple life and a simple business here in Gadchiroli.
