Chauhan Trading Company

We are based out in Village Bagli, right in Word No 3. The shop is sitting pretty close to the Tata Chasis Stand, so there’s always some mechanical talk going on nearby. The Government Senior Secondary School is right around the corner too. It’s a quiet enough area in Tehsil Dehra, though the mornings get a bit lively when everyone is heading to work. We spend a lot of time just moving crates and checking what’s come in on the latest truck. The building is an old one, a bit drafty in the winter, but it stays cool when the sun is out. We don't have any fancy computers or high-tech systems here. Just a big ledger and a desk that’s seen better days. People from the village come by when they need something specific. We’ve lived here all our lives, so we know most of the faces that walk through the door. It’s a simple life, mostly just tracking inventory and making sure the supplies are stacked right. Sometimes the cows from the nearby fields wander onto the road and slow things down. That’s just part of being in Bagli. We open up early and usually lock the doors when the school kids are heading home for the day. It’s not a big operation, just a local trading spot that’s been here for a while now.
