Sharma Paints

You can find Sharma Paints at Shop No.3 right on the Chd Ambala Highway. It is a very busy spot with trucks and cars zooming past our front door all day long. We spend most of our time surrounded by stacks of paint cans and different types of brushes. The smell of thinner and fresh paint is pretty strong in here, but we got used to it a long time ago. People usually stop by when they are driving between the cities or if they live in the villages nearby and are fixing up their homes. We have all the basic colors and some of the newer mixes that people ask for. The mixing machine makes a lot of noise when it is running, so we have to shout over it sometimes to be heard. It is just a small shop, not one of those big showrooms you see in the middle of a city. We keep the inventory stacked high against the back walls to save space. Sometimes the dust from the highway gets inside, so we are always wiping down the lids of the tins to keep them clean. Dealing with paint is messy work and our clothes usually have a few spots of color on them by the end of the day. People just see our sign from the road and pull their vehicles over. We give them what they need, maybe suggest a brush size, and they head back out.
