Rama Krishna Industries

Our workshop is at B-32 in the Industrial Focal Point. It’s a busy area where everyone is making something different. Rama Krishna Industries is a place where we do a lot of metal work and fabrication. The walls are stained with oil and there are metal shavings in the cracks of the floor. It is definitely not a place for someone who likes to keep their hands clean. We have a bunch of old machines that we’ve kept running through a lot of patches and repairs. They still work fine for what we need. The noise level is pretty high throughout the day, so we usually just communicate with nods and hand signals when we are on the floor. We don't have a big mission statement or anything like that hanging on the wall. We just have a calendar and a list of things that need to be finished by Friday. The office is just a desk in the corner with a phone that rings more than it should. We get a lot of dust from the other factories nearby, but that’s just life in the focal point. We eat our lunch on the benches outside when the weather is decent. It is a basic operation, but we have been doing it this way for a long time and it works for us.
