Punjab Art

Out here on Chandigarh Highway Road, things stay pretty busy with all the traffic passing by at all hours. Our shop, Punjab Art, is right in Adarsh Nagar, not too far from the big LIC building. If you’re driving toward the highway, you can’t really miss us. We do a lot of hand-painted work and signboards. It’s mostly brushes and paint around here, though we do some other bits too. The dust from the road can be a real pain sometimes, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. We started this place because we liked the work. It’s just us and the paint buckets most mornings. Sometimes a truck driver stops by needing a name painted on his door, or a local shop owner wants a new look for their front. We don’t have a big staff, just enough hands to keep the orders moving along. The sun hits the front of the shop pretty hard in the afternoons. We usually have tea around four and talk about what needs to be finished before dark. It’s a noisy spot because of the cars, but it’s good for business. People know where to find us. We don’t go in for anything too complicated. Just solid work that holds up in the weather. Adarsh Nagar is a good community to be part of. We’ve been in this specific spot for quite a while and plan to stay as long as people need signs painted.
