Down in Sahopar Tola, Bhatni, we run Yunik Dairy Farm Private Limited. We are located at the house of Prabhawati Devi in the Deoria area of Uttar Pradesh. It is a quiet rural spot, which is very different from what you see in the big cities. We deal with cows and milk every single day of the year. There is no such thing as a weekend for us because the animals need to be fed and milked no matter what day it is. It gets very dusty in the summer and when the rains come, the whole place turns into mud. We do our best to keep the sheds clean and keep the animals healthy. Most of the people who help us out are from the local village. We grew up around farms, so starting this company felt like the natural thing to do. We don't have a website or big glowing signs. It is just the farm and the animals. We focus on the daily tasks. Sometimes we sit around and talk about how to fix a fence or buy better feed, but mostly we are just busy.
