Shree Niwas Nursing College Privatelimited

Shree Niwas Nursing College Privatelimited is out in the village of Baikunthpur in Deoria. It’s a bit of a drive to get out here but it’s a quiet place for a college. We have a building that we converted for the nursing students. It has some classrooms and a small area where they can practice. We started this because there weren't many options for nursing studies in this specific part of the district. The students mostly come from the nearby villages. We have some basic medical equipment for them to look at and learn from. It’s not a huge campus like you see in the movies. It’s just a plain building with a yard around it. We spend our days managing the classes and making sure the instructors have what they need. Sometimes the cows from the nearby farm wander near the gate. We have a small office where we keep the student files and do the billing. It’s a lot of work to keep a college running in a rural area. The electricity can be a problem so we have some lamps. We aren't polished business people. We are just trying to run a decent place for people to learn a trade. We usually close up early in the evening because the roads get very dark. It’s a simple life and a simple school. We have a small staff room where we keep a kettle for making tea.
