Shakuntala Clinic

Our clinic is located in Ward No. 1, right at House No. 18 in Khadda. We are really easy to find because the IPL Sugar Factory is just nearby. Most people in the area know the factory, so they usually use that as a landmark when they are coming over. It is a quiet enough spot, though you can definitely tell when the factory is busy. We’ve been here for a while now, just doing our daily work and seeing folks from the neighborhood who drop in. The building is simple, nothing fancy, just a regular house turned into a clinic space. It gets a bit dusty on the road sometimes, especially with the trucks going back and forth toward the sugar factory, but we keep the inside clean and ready. We usually start our day early. Someone is always here to open up the shutters and get things sorted before the first person arrives. It’s mostly locals from around Khadda who come by. We know many of the faces by now, which makes the days go by a bit faster. There is a small sitting area, and we try to keep it comfortable, though it fills up quickly on Monday mornings. Living and working so close to the factory means we are part of that whole ecosystem. It’s not a big city hospital, just a small place where we handle the usual health stuff that comes up. We just keep our heads down and do the job.
