We operate out of Acharya Ram Chandra Shukla Nagar here in Deoria. Our spot is at A 26, and it’s a fairly quiet neighborhood compared to the main market area. Being in eastern Uttar Pradesh, things move at a certain pace, and we’ve adjusted to that over the years. This isn't a high-rise office; it’s more of a ground-level setup where we keep our records for the Pidilite distribution. We have a small staff, mostly local guys who know the streets and the shopkeepers well. There’s a lot of manual tracking involved, even though we have a computer in the corner. Sometimes the internet is slow, so we go back to pen and paper to keep things moving. We deal with a lot of construction-related queries because there’s always someone building something nearby. The office gets a bit dusty in the summer, and we spend a lot of time drinking chai while we wait for deliveries to arrive from the bigger hubs. It’s an honest way to spend the day. We don’t have fancy signs or a reception desk. You just walk in and talk to whoever is sitting there. We do our best to keep the supply chain going so the small stores in Deoria don't have to wait too long. It’s a simple life, but the work is steady. We just take it one day at a time and try to keep everything organized in our own way.
