Kushawaha Clinic

Kushawaha Clinic is right on the Main Road in Kotwa Bazar. If you live in Gorakhpur, you probably know the area. It gets really loud outside with all the traffic and people moving about. We’ve been here for a while. The clinic isn't very big, but it serves the purpose. We have some wooden benches for people to sit on. Most days are pretty much the same. We open up, check the supplies, and wait for the first person to come in. Gorakhpur - 274305 is where we call home. We see all sorts of people, from shopkeepers nearby to families who travel a bit to get here. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but we haven't gotten around to it yet. We keep the floor clean, though. That's important. It’s a busy spot being on the Main Road. Sometimes it’s hard to hear over the trucks going by. We don't use any fancy computers for everything; a lot of it is still written down in big ledgers. It works for us. My father used to say that a clinic should be a place where people feel okay, not scared. So we try to keep it friendly. No white lab coats that look too scary. Just regular clothes and a smile. It’s just a local clinic trying to do right by the folks in Kotwa Bazar. Nothing more, nothing less. We just take it one day at a time here.
