Chemicals & Allied Products

Our place is at A-1 in the Govt. Industrial Estate. It’s right on Gorakhpur Road, so there are always trucks and vans moving about. Chemicals & Allied Products is what we call ourselves. Being in an industrial estate means things are a bit dusty and noisy, but that’s just how it is. We have a lot of stuff stored in the back, mostly drums and bags. The front office is pretty basic with just a couple of desks and a fan that squeaks a little. We don’t really go in for fancy decor. It’s a workplace, after all. The Gorakhpur Road is usually packed with traffic, so we try to get our loading and unloading done early in the morning. Sometimes the power goes out, but we just wait it out or use the backup. It’s a practical way to run a business. We know the other guys in the estate, so we look out for each other. If you’re looking for A-1, it’s right near the main entrance area. We’ve been here long enough that the walls could probably tell some stories. We just keep our heads down and handle the orders as they come in. There’s no secret to it, just showing up every day and making sure the chemicals and other products get to where they need to go. It is a long day most times, but the work is steady.
