Shankhnaad Foundation

You can find us at the Shankhnaad Foundation over in Madhupur, which is part of the Deoghar district. We are located at Govind Tiwary’s place on Ds Patharchapti in the Shekhpura area. It’s a bit of a specific address, so usually, people have to ask around a little bit to find the exact gate. Madhupur is a nice, slower-paced town compared to some of the bigger cities in Jharkhand. Our office reflects that. It’s a very basic setup. We don't have a reception desk or a waiting room with magazines. It is just a place where we sit and get our work done. Most of us are from around here, so we know the area well. This foundation started because we wanted to have a home base for our local activities. We aren't doing anything that requires a big fancy building. We just need a roof over our heads and some desks for our computers. Some days it is very quiet, and we just focus on the paperwork. Other days, neighbors might drop in to say hello. There isn't a PR person or anyone to make us look bigger than we are. We are just a small team in a small town. We like the way things are. It’s honest work and we do it from a place we know and like. If you’re ever in Shekhpura, that’s where you’ll find us.
