In the New Town area of Jamtara, Jharkhand, we are located right by Tower Chowk on Station Road. It is always a very lively spot because of the railway station being so close by. This is the place for Kirloskar Brothers Ltd, and it is handled out of the space provided by the Boxhi family. Being near the station means there is always a bit of a rush outside, and you can hear the trains if you listen closely enough during the quiet moments. The office isn't anything special to look at, just a practical space where we can sit down and get our daily work finished. We deal with people from all over the district who stop by while they are in town for other errands. It is a very grounded environment for us. We do not have fancy furniture or a coffee machine; we just get our tea from the small stall around the corner. The walls are a bit plain, and the floor has some scuffs here and there, but that is only because we are actually working here every single day. Jamtara is a small place, so word of mouth is usually how most people find our office. We do not spend money on big ads or polished brochures. We just talk to people plainly and try to help them with whatever they need. Sometimes the power goes out, but we just wait it out.
