Ideal Mahesham Residential School

Ideal Mahesham Residential School is located in Williams Town, which is a part of Deoghar in Jharkhand. Being a residential school, it feels a bit different than a regular day school because the kids are here all the time. The building is quite sturdy and sits in a quiet corner of the town where there isn't too much traffic. We have dormitories with rows of beds where the students sleep, and a large dining area where we serve meals every day. It’s a simple life for the kids here. They wake up early, do their studies, and spend time in the common areas. The staff lives nearby or right on the premises, so someone is always around if a student needs something in the middle of the night. Deoghar has its own rhythm, and we follow that here. The air is a bit fresher than in the big cities, and there’s enough room for the students to walk around outside. Our classrooms are basic but they have everything needed for a normal education. Sometimes the plumbing acts up or a light bulb needs changing, just like in any other house. We just focus on keeping the place running and making sure the students have a roof over their heads and books to read. It’s a practical, no-frills kind of place that serves the community and the families who send their children here. We try to make the dining hall feel a bit like home, even if the cooking is just simple, local food.
