Gupta Tea

Gupta Tea is located right in Khadda, very close to the railway station. It is a very convenient spot because people are always coming and going from the trains. You can hear the whistles blowing all day long from our door. We’ve been here in the Khadda area for years now. It’s a small place, nothing too special to look at, but it works for what we do. We sell tea to the folks who live nearby and some travelers who are just passing through. The station is the main thing around here, so most of the life in this part of town happens right on our street. We keep the shop open early because that’s when the first trains start moving and people need their morning fix. It’s a lot of manual work, moving boxes and checking the quality of what we have. We don't have fancy machinery or a big staff. Just a couple of us making sure things are sorted. Sometimes the rain makes the platform area messy, but we stay dry inside. People usually stop in for a quick chat while they wait for their ride. We know most of the regulars by name now. It’s just how things are in a place like this. We don’t try to be anything we aren't. We just provide tea to the community here in Khadda and try to keep things moving along smoothly every day.
