Edwards English School

Edwards English School has been operating out of P O Box No 1 for quite some time. It’s a bit of a funny address to have, but it’s where we receive all our mail. The school itself is a place where we just get on with things. We aren't big on ceremony here. Each morning, we unlock the doors and start the day. The classrooms are filled with the usual stuff—desks, boards, and lots of books. We spend a lot of time making sure everyone is where they need to be. It’s a bit like a big family, except with a lot more rules and schedules. We don't have a lot of extra money for decorations, so the walls are mostly covered with student work and the odd map. Sometimes the printer breaks down or we run out of chalk, and we just have to deal with it. We have a few trees out front that give some shade when it’s hot. The staff here is a mix of people who have been around for years and some newer faces. We all know the routine by heart. It’s not a fancy life, but it’s what we do. We take the mail from the post office box and handle the business of running a school one day at a time. It’s steady work, and we don't expect it to change much. We just show up and do what needs to be done.
