Career Book Centre

Career Book Centre is located in Das Complex, which is quite close to Court Road in the village of Deoghar. We have been here for a long time now, surrounded by tall stacks of books and piles of papers. If you are heading towards the court, you have likely seen our building. It is a quiet enough spot most of the time, though things really pick up when exam season comes around. We do not have a huge staff here, just a couple of us who know where most things are shelved. The shelves are quite tall and sometimes things get tucked away in the back corners where it is hard to see. Deoghar is a nice village, and being near Court Road means we see a lot of different people passing through every day. We are not trying to be a big fancy bookstore like the ones you find in the big cities. We are just a local shop in Das Complex where students and workers come to find what they need for their studies or their jobs. Sometimes the shop feels a bit small because we have so much stock crammed in, but we like it that way. It always smells like paper in here. We spend our time ordering new titles and helping people find specific pages they might be looking for. It is not always organized perfectly, but we usually know where to look. Being in Deoghar, we just try to do our work steadily.
