Bajla Food Products Private Limited is located out on Dumka Road in Maheshmara. If you know where the milk plant is, we are just near that. It’s a good landmark because people always get lost trying to find specific plots. The area is usually full of movement. We spend our days handling various food products. It’s a lot of manual work and checking on the machines. Some days are better than others. When the weather is rough, it gets a bit tricky getting the transport in and out of the yard. We have a small team here and most of us have been around for years. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to do our work and go home to our families. The floors are often dusty from the flour or whatever we are packing that day. You can hear the hum of the equipment from the street. We drink a lot of tea in the small break room we set up in the corner. It’s nothing special, just a table and some chairs. We deal with local suppliers mostly. It feels like a community effort most of the time. The paperwork takes up a lot of my time lately which I don't really enjoy but it has to be done. We just keep moving forward one day at a time. The gate needs a new coat of paint soon, but for now, it stays as it is.
