Maa Samaleswari Flyash

Our place is over in Ballam At Post, right near the U.G.M.E School. You can usually hear the kids shouting and playing during their breaks, which makes the day go by a bit faster. We deal with flyash, so everything tends to get a bit grey after a few hours of work. It’s a messy business, but someone has to do it. We’ve got our setup here, and we try to keep things organized even when it’s busy. The road outside can get a bit narrow when the big trucks come in to pick up a load. Sometimes we have to wait for the school traffic to clear out before we can move things around too much. Maa Samaleswari Flyash is basically just a yard and some sheds. We spend a lot of time checking the piles and making sure the bags are stacked right so they don't tip over. It’s just a few of us working here, so we all know each other well. We sit under the shade of the big tree near the entrance when we take our lunch. It gets really dusty when the wind picks up from the fields behind us. We’ve been in this part of Ballam for a good bit now, and the neighbors don't seem to mind the noise too much. It’s just steady work, moving the ash and waiting for the next order to come through the gate. There is always something to sweep or stack.
