Jbs Bricks

Jbs Bricks is located out in Kundapitha Village, right in Barkote Tehsil within the Deogarh District. We are situated near the market place on Bajla Niwas Road, which makes it easy for people to find us when they are passing through. The brickyard is a busy place, especially during the dry season when we can really get things moving. It’s a lot of dirt, water, and heat. We have been working this land for a while, and the routine hasn't changed much over the years. We wake up, check the soil, and get the molds ready. My workers are mostly from the village or nearby areas. We talk about the weather a lot because it dictates everything we do. If it looks like rain, we are all running around trying to cover the stacks. The market nearby means there is always a bit of noise and people coming by to ask questions. It’s a dusty job, and by the end of the day, everyone is pretty worn out. We don’t have a website or anything like that; we just rely on people knowing where we are on Bajla Niwas Road. The bricks are heavy and the work is slow, but it’s what we do. Deogarh is a good place to be, even if the roads get a bit rough sometimes. We just focus on the piles of bricks and making sure the fire in the kiln stays at the right temperature through the night. It is a simple way to make a living.
