Zind Timber Store

Over at Zind Timber Store, things are always moving. We are located in Sushant Lok Phase I, inside the Sushant Shopping Arcade at Plot No UGH/251. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze sometimes with all the wood coming in and out. If you walk past, you’ll probably smell the sawdust before you see us. We’ve got stacks of timber all over the place. Some days it’s quiet and we just sit and sort through the offcuts, other days the trucks are lined up and everyone is sweating. The shop isn’t some high-end showroom. It’s just a place where we keep the wood dry and wait for folks to come pick what they need for their projects. We’ve been in this arcade for a bit now. People come in looking for specific sizes, and we do what we can with what’s on the racks. The floor is usually covered in shavings, no matter how much we sweep it up. It’s just part of the job when you work with these materials. My hands are usually a bit rough from moving planks all day. We don’t spend much time on the computer or anything like that. We’d rather be out on the floor checking the grain. If the phone rings, we pick it up, but usually, people just drop by. It’s easier to talk face to face anyway. The arcade gets busy in the evenings with shoppers, but we’re usually wrapping up by then.
