Our office is situated in Madangir, New Delhi, specifically at I-2/66. It’s a lively neighborhood with a lot of people and shops, and we fit right into the mix. We deal with various technology products, so the office is usually filled with boxes and pieces of equipment waiting to be tested or shipped out. It’s a compact space where every inch of the desk is used for a monitor or a stack of papers. We aren't a big corporate firm with glass walls; we're more of a local operation where everyone knows how to do a bit of everything. The morning starts with checking the inventory and responding to messages from customers. The street outside is always noisy with rickshaws and vendors, which we’ve just accepted as the soundtrack to our workday. We have a couple of computers that stay on all day as we track shipments and update our lists. There’s a small area where we keep the packing materials like bubble wrap and tape. Sometimes the office gets a bit cramped when a new shipment arrives and we have to move the chairs just to walk through. We don't have a dress code or anything formal; we just wear what’s comfortable for a day of moving boxes and sitting at a screen. It’s a busy, practical environment where we focus on keeping the tech moving and making sure the orders are correct. We often stay late when there is a lot of data to enter.
