Yash Plastics

Yash Plastics is located in the Bawana Industrial Area, which is a huge place if you've ever tried to find a specific plot there. We are at Plot No. 177, in Pocket I of Sector-4, which is a DSIIDC area. A good landmark for us is the Ganga Toli Mandir, which is quite close by. Working in plastics means there is always a bit of a smell of melting poly or raw materials in the air. Our unit is basically a large shed where the machines do the heavy lifting. It can get very hot, especially in the Delhi summers, so we have big exhaust fans running all the time. It’s a noisy, busy place. We aren't doing anything fancy, just making plastic components and items that people need. The floor is usually covered with bits of scrap or bags of granules. We have a small corner for the desk where we handle the billing and the phone calls. The trucks come and go all day, squeezing through the narrow lanes of Bawana. It’s a tough environment but it’s where the work happens. We don't have any grand mission statements or anything like that. We just come in, run the machines, pack the bags, and go home. It’s a local operation and we prefer to keep things simple and honest. The water cooler in the corner is our favorite spot during the break.
