Wood Stock

Wood Stock is located out in Swarn Park, near Mundka Village along the Nangloi Rohtak Road. It’s an area where you see a lot of trucks and industrial activity. Our place is basically a large shed where we keep everything. There is always the smell of cut wood and sawdust in the air, which stays on your clothes long after you leave. We don’t have a fancy showroom. Most of what we have is just stacked up in the back or spread out on the floor while we work on it. It’s a bit dusty, no matter how much we sweep. We spend the day moving heavy pieces around and making sure things are cut to the right size. The traffic on Rohtak Road can be a nightmare, so we try to get our deliveries out early in the morning before it gets too backed up. The team here is small. We’ve worked together for years and we don’t need much instruction anymore. We just know what needs to be done. We use some old machinery that’s been around for ages, but it still works perfectly fine. It’s loud, so we usually wear earplugs. If you come by, you’ll probably find us covered in dust near the back entrance. We don’t use shiny brochures to sell what we do. People just come by because they know we’re here in the village and we have what they need.
