Our place, Wipro Ge Medical Systems Private Limited, is tucked away on the first floor of 249 in Okhla Industrial Estae Phase 3. Okhla is a busy place, always full of energy and people moving things back and forth. Being on the first floor is okay, though the stairs can be a bit much if you are carrying heavy things. We focus on medical systems, which sounds very technical, but our day-to-day is mostly just making sure the equipment is sorted and the paperwork is done. The industrial estate has that grey, concrete look that you find in most old business hubs. We are not trying to impress anyone with a fancy lobby. We have some desks, some testing equipment, and a lot of wires. It gets a bit cramped sometimes when a new shipment arrives. Most of us have been working here long enough that we do not even notice the noise of the factories nearby anymore. We just get on with it. It is a bit of a walk from the main gate, but it is a good way to get some steps in. We do not have those flashy corporate slogans hanging on the walls. We just have a calendar and some notes stuck to the monitors with tape. It is a practical workspace for people who just want to do their jobs and go home to their families. That is pretty much the vibe around here.
